This might sound a little uncomfortable. But it’s something I’ve been noticing more and more. A lot of doctors are not exactly struggling… but they’re not growing the way they expected either. Patients are still coming. Work is still happening. But there’s this quiet feeling, “Something is off.” And most times, it’s not because of skill. It’s something else.

I don’t think doctors today are being rejected. They’re just… not being chosen. There’s a difference. Earlier, things were simpler. Patients would ask someone, get a reference, walk into a clinic, and then decide. Now the decision starts much earlier. At home. On a phone. In between scrolling. They search, they watch, they compare. Sometimes without even realizing it, they shortlist. And in that process, something very basic happens. They go with what feels clear. Not always what’s best. What feels clear.
